We're Hiring: Contract Producer (Remote) – Film Bliss Studios
Film Bliss Studios is an independent production company dedicated to telling powerful Latine/x and LGBTQ+ stories. We are seeking a Contract Producer to join our team on a project-by-project basis, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time producer role.
This is a remote position ideal for someone who has experience in documentary production, an interest in fundraising, and a passion for elevating underrepresented voices.
Position Details:
Title: Contract Producer
Location: Remote (U.S.-based preferred)
Type: Contract-based (per funded project)

Key Responsibilities:
Manage documentary and nonfiction projects from development to delivery
Coordinate production schedules, crews, budgets, and post-production workflows
Collaborate with directors, editors, and community partners
Assist in fundraising efforts, including grant writing and sponsorship outreach
Ensure that stories are produced with authenticity, care, and community collaboration
Work across departments and with diverse teams to complete projects on time
Ideal Candidate:
Bilingual in Spanish and English (required)
Experience in documentary production or related nonfiction media
Passionate about Latine/x and LGBTQ+ storytelling
Comfortable working remotely and managing digital workflows
Skilled communicator and team player
Organized, deadline-driven, and self-motivated
Interested in growing with Film Bliss Studios long-term
